Black Hat SEO

“Black Hat SEO” is the name given to just about any shady, spammy SEO tactic used to promote a website that falls outside of Google’s Webmaster Guidelines. Link schemes, cloaking, DNS trickery, hacking, doorway pages, spam blog networks… basically anything that is intended to artificially improve a web pages’ position in the search results while providing no value to the site’s users is likely to be considered black hat SEO.
