At Ker Communications, we don’t like the “one size fits all” approach to website design or anything else.

Because every business has unique needs and goals, every project we do has its own custom strategy. This way we can provide the best possible services in the most efficient and cost effective way possible. But we realize that you need at least some idea how much a website costs, especially considering how advertised web design prices are all over the map. Web designers and developers are also all over the map – the globe, really – from Pittsburgh to India, which is a partial explanation for greatly varying web design rates you’ll find when looking for web designers and developers. So we have put together the following rather loose guide to Ker Communications’ web design rates.
The website prices listed are to give you a “ballpark” estimate. These are not to be seen as limits on what we can or will do.  If none of these fit your needs, tell us.

 

red ball“I Really Need to Be On The Web, But I Just Want a Website with Some Company Information and Contact Info”

Sometimes you just need to get something on the web, but you don’t need or can’t afford to go big. We have a very basic website plan for you that does just that. We will get you online ASAP with a good looking “just the facts” website which you can build upon later if you want. We can build you a website with your company logo, (the rest of the site will match your existing branding and color scheme) a company overview, a list of products & services (text and images to be used on the wesbite would need to be supplied by you), your address and phone, links to your Facebook page, Twitter, etc (if you don’t have any of those and want them, ask us about our Social Media services). This very basic type of site will be built using current standard technologies and will be “Search Engine Friendly” including our minimalist “SEO (very) Basic” Search Engine Optimization. Nothing too exciting here, but it is a good start for a do-it-yourself project when you are on a low budget. And don’t worry – we will make it look fantastic.

Ker Communications will develop a custom designed website that matches your existing corporate identity using current web standards and additional “must have” features like contact forms, site search and basic Facebook and Twitter integration (“Latests Tweets”, Facebook “Like” buttons). We want your website and your business to succeed, so all of our custom websites include our “SEO Performance” Search Engine Optimization to help ensure your web site will be seen often and by the right audience, so you can reach customers before your competitors do.

Other features such as photo galleries, PayPal integration, simple eCommerce shopping cart systems, a blog, videos, or just about any other feature you have seen elsewhere can be added either when the site is built or later on.

Do You Do WordPress Customization?”

Absolutely! We can get you set up with your own WordPress blog, search engine friendly and ready to go for as low as $400 including the best SEO plugins and an XML Sitemap generator to facilitate search engine indexing of your new blog or WordPress website. We won’t be doing much more than installing WordPress and properly setting it up – we’ll leave the design to you.

If you have a WordPress blog you would like to customize or have us manage for you, just tell us what you want to do with it and we will give you a price quote. Even if you just need some WordPress advice like “how do I block spam comments from my blog”, just email us. Most of the time we can give you an answer or at least point you in the right direction, free of charge. If your WordPress related question requires more research or troubleshooting, we will charge a small consulting fee (like maybe the price of a nice dinner).
